Taking care of your skin is so important. Whatever your skin concern may be, there's always a product for it. I used to have really oily skin growing up, but ever since I've maintained a rigorous skincare routine, my skin has adjusted. If you're trying to prevent breakouts, control oil, or minimize pores, a good routine will help you love the skin you're in.

01

Cleanser

I have a combination skin type, so I'll always start with a good face cleanser, applying the lather to my entire face, neck, and even behind the ears. Depending on how much time I have, I'll leave it on for a couple of minutes to sink in before rinsing. Right now, I use the Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash from Kiehl's. Before proceeding, I actually leave my face wet to let the skin absorb more moisture and stay hydrated.

02

Toner

One of my skin concerns has always been pores, so I've been known to use the Rare Earth Pore Refining Tonic from Kiehl's. To prevent my skin from drying out, I'm currently using the Essential-C Toner from Murad. I apply the toner using cotton pads on my damp skin.

03

Moisturizer

It's so important to pick the right moisturizer, and I'm currently using the Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel-Cream from Kiehl's because it's super hydrating, but it mattifies the skin so I won't look oily. After time, the skin produces less oil in response to the consistent moisture from a good skincare routine.

04

Eye Cream

Eye cream is one of the newer steps I've added to my routine. I'm currently using Firm Eye Cream from Perricone MD and it's worked wonders. It's so important to pay attention to the eye area to prevent wrinkles!

05

Lips

I think many guys tend to neglect their lips and fail to keep them moisturized. I'll start the day with Intense Therapy Lip Balm with SPF from Jack Black, and then carry around a chapstick with me all day. If I think my lips are feeling drier than usual, I actually apply vitamin E serum or break open a gel capsule and dab it across my lips.
